Absolutely, Tribe Toronto is for you! We promise you'll feel welcomed and fit right in. Our events are designed to be inclusive, embracing individuals from all walks of life. • Are there any guidelines for participation?
Yes, we have a set of guidelines to ensure a respectful and supportive environment. These include active listening, positive engagement, and maintaining confidentiality of shared stories. Explore full guidelines here
  • Is participation mandatory?
No, it is not! Your presence is impactful enough; holding space for others goes a long way. We understand that sharing isn't always in someone's comfort zone and we encourage everyone to only participate in ways that feel comfortable to them. Hearing others stories can sometimes really resonate with us and our experience, and some feel so connected to someone's story that they tend to want to share by building their own share on someone else's. This is entirely up to you 🤗
  • What measures are in place to ensure the safety and comfort of attendees?
We prioritize inclusivity, respect, and safety at all our events. Harassment or hate speech is not tolerated, and we have facilitators present to ensure a supportive environment. Find our event guidelines here and our accessibility policy here

Yes, we are always looking for new partners and facilitators, as well as community programs we can support 🤗 Please fill out the Partner With Us form and we will be in touch!
  • Can I suggest a theme for an event?
We welcome suggestions! Feel free to contact us with your ideas for event themes.
  • I felt there was offensive subject matter at an event. What should I do?
We strive to foster a safe space where participants feel comfortable sharing their raw experiences, and we support the right to free speech. However, we do not tolerate any form of hate speech or harassment. If you feel a line was crossed at any time, please contact us directly at hello@torontosos.com so we can address this directly
