TorontoSOS is dedicated to providing inclusive and accessible on-site event experiences for all attendees, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and relevant Ontario regulations.

Venue Selection:

We strive to select event venues that are accessible and compliant with AODA standards, including accessible parking, ramps, and washroom facilities.

Registration and Information:

Our event registration process is designed to accommodate diverse needs, including options for accessible registration methods and providing event information in accessible formats upon request.

Physical Accessibility:

We ensure that event spaces are accessible to individuals with mobility challenges, with clear pathways, adequate seating options, and accessible elevators if applicable.

Communication:

We communicate event details, directions, and important information in accessible formats, including large print or braille, upon request.

Assistive Services:

Upon request, we provide assistive services such as sign language interpretation, captioning, and assistive listening devices to facilitate participation for attendees with hearing impairments.

Event Staff Training:

Our event staff receive training on accessibility awareness and best practices to assist attendees with disabilities and ensure a welcoming environment for all.

Accessibility Compliance:

TorontoSOS is committed to ongoing efforts to improve the accessibility of our on-site events. We conduct regular accessibility assessments of event venues and collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with AODA standards.
